The Partnership Plus Program

As always, the process begins with a tailored portfolio designed to fit each client’s unique investment goals and financial situation. Unlike the Managed Portfolio Program, clients will continue to be involved in the day-to-day management of their portfolios and must give their consent for each recommendation made for their accounts.

Within the Partnership Plus program, clients do not pay commissions on each transaction; instead all costs and expenses are covered by one transparent, all-inclusive fee. This fee is not tied to the amount of trading activity that occurs in the accounts, rather on the overall value of the portfolio. This approach gives clients peace of mind knowing that we will always act objectively in their best interests when it comes to trade recommendations. In addition, the fee is fully tax-deductible in non-registered accounts and we will waive all annual administration fees that are charged to registered accounts.

In our opinion, the greatest benefit to this new fee-based approach is that it will enable us to be more nimble and effective at entering and exiting the market, without the restrictions of having to consider commission costs. It allows us to react quickly to rapidly changing market conditions.

Clients who are interest in the Partnership Plus program must have $100,000 in household assets in order to qualify. This minimum asset level is put in place in order to ensure that the annual fees are not too onerous when dealing with smaller account sizes.
