Global markets have staged an impressive recovery over the past month despite a number of headwinds. Much of this strength can be attributed to a string of U.S. economic data that has beaten economist expectations and has led to improved confidence around economic forecasts for the remainder of the year. Better-than-feared second quarter earnings reports as well as a lack of escalating crises surrounding the ‘Brexit’ vote has also eased investor concerns.
